Don’t listen to that voice in your head!
That voice that tells you, that you can’t do it, You don’t know how, you are not good enough. You are not smart enough, be realistic, Some people call that voice in your head either an angel or a devil. The devil is the negative one that is most prominent and active. The angle is usually identified as Intuition, or a gut feeling. Today we are talking about the negative voice in your head. The voice that wants to keep you where you are, the voice that wants to keep you in that same place, you can’t go further, it says because you are not smart enough, you do not know enough, you just don’t have what it takes. And on and on and on, I have found out through my life, that the closer I am to something, whether positive or negative the voice is loud. It’s like it wants to keep us where we are, doing what we do, and not get any better, or not follow our feelings if something is negative in nature, it shows us what we want to see, not what it really is. One book I used when I was teaching people what this is, The Gremlin by Rick Carson, I bought it back in early 1990’s It was published. October 1986 its available on amazon.ca / amazon.com as well the gremlin is always there, and it gets more active and louder saying things like you should do that for something negative, or you should not do that positive, its reversed.
Because its not working in your best interest. Its working on your downfall or having you stay in the same place, not progressing, making positive changes, you are in a rut right where it likes you. Jump out of the box, get off the path it has you on. I think looking at it as a separate being makes it easier it helps you to separate from it.
What ever you are doing in your life this thing is always there, don’t listen to it, or pay attention to it, tell it to shut up! Go away, leave you alone, and if it does not at first just keep telling it. Eventually it will and you will control it, not it controlling you and your thoughts about what you are doing or what you can do, if you are good enough or know enough or have enough,
